Collaborative and Community Engaged Public Art > The Knitting Project

Tapping into the creativity of local knitters, I invented a project to explore the intersection of existing animal public art and the overlay of a knitted narrative. A total of 10 sculptures where adorned with the invented narratives of participants. The project began at the Senior Center and blossomed into a multi-generational project that is still remembered years later.
